The Leadership Challenge – Sarawak Energy Board

Leadership is not about personality; it’s about behavior—an observable set of skills and abilities. Mastermind mirrored its Leadership Challenge Program to THE FIVE PRACTICES OF EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP® MODEL. This model discovered that when leaders are at their personal best there are five core practices common to all: they Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and last but certainly not least, they Encourage the Heart.

The trainer provide the participants with the right leadership framework and since this is a hands on course, all of them are required to complete and present  leadership project that is relevant to the SEB.

What makes this program powerful is that all knowledge shared are applicable and is required to be implemented in the project. Their leadership skills were assessed by their bosses and through a personal questionnaire.

Post training during the project presentation day, the participants shared their experiences in completing their projects. Feedback and assessment was given by the trainer through a personal coaching session
